The soul of the world
I want to share a project called the Soul of the World (El
Alma del Mundo) by photographer Miguel Angel Sanchez. In this series of
portraits of Egyptian people, Sanchez lights and composes them in the
likeness of the Baroque style, using the light in a similar way that
master painters like Diego Velazquez, Caravaggio or Ribera, making his
pictures look like paintings instead of photographs.
