On the Other Side of the Dream

I want to share "Al Otro Lado del Sueño" or "On the Other Side of the Dream," a series of portraits of Central American migrants traveling toward the U.S. by Italian photographer Nicola Okin Frioli. Divided in two parts, this project  helps us better understand the reason why those who migrate choose to do so, risking their lives in such a dangerous journey, and the problems they confront while moving north.

Venado (Deer) - Documentary about Huichol indians

Sharing the documentary Venado (Deer) by Pablo Fulgueira, an 80 minute documentary about the Huichols indians. Mexico's Huichol Indians (Wirraritarie Indians) continue to practice Pre-Colombian traditions that they believe will save the earth from environmental destruction. They walk more than 3.000 km to five different sacred places during nine months to offer presents to their Gods.

I'm going to share the story 'They stole so much more' by visual journalist John Adkisson native of Charlotte, N.C, and currently based in Miami.

Store clerk Monir Alyatim was fatally shot during a robbery while working at Saba's Mini Mart in Flint, Michigan. Alyatim left behind a wife of ten years and two small children. This is the story of his wife Neketia.
