Singing the Suffering of Haiti

Singing the Suffering of Haiti is an audio-slide show from the New York Times made by photojournalist Todd Heisler and narrated by journalist Simon Romero. The piece is about Beken, a haitian singer-songwriter born Jean-Prosper Deauphin. It is a touching story about this musician playing again after the Jan. 12 earthquake devastated Haiti in 2010.
